Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.
– Oxford Dictionary
Science is assumed to be the driving force behind human advancement and development. Some may think investigations are selected in relation to the benefit for the whole of humanity. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Science and research depend on financing. It is financing and politics that determine the direction of scientific research and technological development. There is nothing scientific about profit, financing, and politics. Science is first and foremost a moneymaking machine and financing has more influence on the direction of science than any benefit science could have for humanity as a whole.
It is the need for financing that has given away the control over the scientific community. Receiving funding and being accepted by the community has now become the main goal of scientific thinking. If you are as a scientist, critical of the scientific community you are likely excommunicated from that community for not thinking properly, and it will become hard to impossible to get funding for your projects while your investigations will not get published in the science journals. You need to get published to get recognition, make a career and get more funding. The Bottom line here is: Science has become political at least as far as the funding goes. Compliance with the political game has prevalence above good science. It is this control over the scientific community that holds back human development.
Science is political; we use politics to decide where to invest our intellect and treasure
– Bill Nyer
Our society is obsessed with creating and maintaining competitive differences. Science is predominantly used for creating that difference. These advances are then being guarded and translated into financial gains. Lies and secrecy are essential in maintaining the gap. It does not really matter whether the motivation behind the lies is national security or corporate politics, everybody is forced to play the same competitive political game. The victim of this game is science itself, as it has become a tool for making money.
Institutions receive funding and have established entire departments dedicated to long established theories, these same institutions are ill equipped to challenge their own scientific paradigms with new theories.
– Dr. R. Santilli
New regulations often depend on having support from scientific research. Political and financial interest favors research that generates the right kind of positive reports that can help to push through these new regulations. It is easier to get financing for research that supports the line of thinking of the people in power than to get financing for research that is critical to that line of thinking. Science has become a dog wagged by its tail: the financiers.
Science and humanity, in general, would benefit from different models of organization. It has become far too lucrative to hold back new knowledge until it can be patented, commercialized and the scientists can put their name on it. This current model stimulates secrecy and it leads to implementing and maintaining long-term truth embargos holding back the whole of humanity.
An example of a truth embargo can be found in the official statement of the United States Government that UFO’s are not being investigated since 1969. The statement on their website reads:
The issue of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) is no longer being investigated by the Defense Department. The United States Air Force began investigating UFOs in 1948 under a program called Project Sign. Later the program's name was changed to Project Grudge, and in 1953 it was changed again to Project Blue Book. On December 17, 1969, the Secretary of the Air Force announced the termination of Project Blue Book.
The decision to discontinue UFO investigations was based on a number of factors, including reports and studies by the University of Colorado and the National Academy of Sciences, as well as past UFO studies and the Air Force's two decades of experience investigating UFO reports.
This statement is a blatant lie. We are made to believe that UFO’s do not exist and the US has done no scientific investigation on this terrain since 1969. This lie became very obvious after an article was published in the New York Times on 16th December 2017 in which the Pentagon acknowledged they spent 20 million dollars a year on UFO research in one of their secret projects. These 20 million a year is part of the more than 20 trillion dollars that the Pentagon cannot account for.

— “The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program,” allegedly defunded in 2012, but “the program remains in existence. ...For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects ... run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon's C Ring.”

While the rest of the science community is worried about their reputation and wary about mentioning UFO`s and extraterrestrials, a small group of scientists financed by US taxpayers money and under cover of secret Pentagon projects, have been making great progress reengineering alien technology while holding back new advanced science knowledge until it can be patented and commercialized. Do we see a pattern here?
There is an even more serious obstacle in the way of the scientific investigation of UFOs. The scientific and academic communities in particular do not take kindly to the investigation of the UFO phenomenon by their peers and colleagues. There have been significant negative consequences in terms of career and reputation for those scholars and scientists who have taken the subject seriously.

Extraterrestrial technology recovered from crashed UFO’s is a treasure trove. Introducing this technology as a human invention has been the big public lie. This is being corroborated by information revealed by Colonel Philip J. Corso. A year before his death he published the book “The Day after Roswell” which included his personal experiences with reengineering Extraterrestrial technology. He described how he was involved with alien technology recovered from crashed UFO´s and how he was responsible to get select corporations involved to develop Integrated circuits, Kevlar material, night vision, lasers and fiber optics based on these alien technologies.
Society has conquered our minds by enforcing a mainstream postage stamp consensus. Human development is severely crippled by using the wrong control systems everywhere including in science. As a consequence humanity is not developing in the right direction while serving the financial interests of a small group. Science and humanity would be much better off with different models of organization.
The Internet has already helped and shown how we can move away from a purely commercial approach to more open ways of thinking as found in open source developments. Instead of making another Bill Gates a Billionaire we should focus on developing open source alternatives like Linux. In the long term, a world dominated by a handful of oligarchs through an unfair commercial looting system is not in the interest of humanity at large.
